The Junkiri spirit
The junkiri — the Nepali firefly — is a symbol of light in the darkness, of guidance along an unknown trail. Just as they illuminate the forest paths of Nepal, we light the way for travellers who come to walk them.
Founded in 2010 by a group of Nepali mountaineers and cultural enthusiasts, Junkiri has grown from a small local operation into one of the country's most trusted trekking companies. We've guided over 500 trekkers safely through the Himalaya, and every journey has deepened our commitment to doing it responsibly.
